Invite friends to share a folder

You can invite friends, family, and co-workers to share and synchronize photos, documents, and other files with Live Mesh. Here's how:

Create or open the Live Mesh folder you want to share.
In the mesh bar that appears alongside the folder window, click Members, and then click Invite.
Enter the e-mail addresses* of people you'd like to invite to share the folder, and then click OK.

Your invitees will receive an e-mail inviting them to share the folder with you. Once they sign in to Live Mesh and accept the invitation, they'll be able to access the folder on their Live Desktop and start synchronizing it with devices in their mesh.

* You can use any e-mail address to invite someone to a folder, but they’ll need to sign in with a Windows Live ID to view the folder.
